THE SUN ROOF
The “sun roof” and it's cousin, the “moon roof” have their origins back in the 1930's. Take a look at this new flash for 1934. This Buick was especially built with a “Sunshine” top made of pyralin. Pyralin was a nitrocellulose pyroxylin plastic used to make collars, cuffs, combs and automobile side curtains.
This Buick was built for a customer in 'The Sunshine State', Pasadena, California.

An "Automotive Rarity"
One of the few "sunshine" tops ever built in this country. Buick recently turned out this job for a customer in Pasadena, Calif. The top is made of pyralin.
